Al-Rajhi Headquarters, Saudi Arabia

Al Rajhi Bank Headquarters is a G+36, 203m tall Tower that draws from the regional context by creating four monolithic piers or cores to shield the crystalline glass tower from the inclement weather. Float, the Stool

Simple and elegant lines represent a clear functionality. The stool represents the concept of structural integrity holding up the functionaly aspects while transmuting a clear visual message of a solid colored block floating in air.

In an attempt to capture the Italian charm and design, the idea of designing a regular house hold item resulted into a kettle for boiling water.

Symmetry is symbolic; circles represent hospitality, vertical stacking represents scale, and the horizontal fragmentation represents depth. The vertical stackable plate-system is modular and presents a new idea of vertical stacking instead of horizontal distribution .
