SUMMARY The City of Alamo Heights is seeking to
modify its ad-hoc committee to reviewand revise the sections of the City’szoning code as they relate tocommercial and multi-familydistricts/developments.

BACKGROUND
Staff has been working with volunteersfrom the Architectural Review Board,the Board of Adjustment, and thePlanning & Zoning Commission inorder to form a nine (9) membercommittee.

BACKGROUND
The committee consisted of seven (7)regular members and two (2) alternatemembers appointed by the CityCouncil.
However, due to changes in the statusof some of the committee members,the ad-hoc committee membershipmust be adjusted.

BACKGROUND
Specifically several of the CommercialCode Committee members have movedto different boards (ARB to P&Z),which has caused the committee tohave a possible quorum of P&Zmembers on the committee.

POLICY ANALYSIS The committee shall select a Chairman of
the committee from among its members. A quorum of the committee shall be four
members. The committee will adhere to the Open
Meetings Act. The new Commercial Code Committee
shall consist of the following members.

FISCAL IMPACT A fiscal impact of $600.00 will be
required of the current budget.
This cost estimate is based on aproposed bi-monthly meeting schedulefor a six (6) month timeframe in whichmeals for the committee would beprovided.
