Message from the Election BoardDear applicant,
Being part of organization that provides young people opportunities for becoming impactful leaders, and especially taking part of a team that is responsible for a national level will give you the chills and most of the time will leave you sleepless. But, those sleepless nights are the reason why we recognize the Member Committee role as one of the most intense and life changing experience.
That is why it represents a great honor to release the 4th round of Member Committee Vice President application for the term 2015/2016. Being part of the Election Board carries a great duty and responsibility, but also gives you the extraordinary chance to provide an opportunity to young people to shape their future and experience indescribable year being part of the Member Committee in AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia.
No matter how many bad and good, successful and unsuccessful, bitter or sweet moments you had during your AIESEC story till now, what matters is that all of those moments create your experience. And when you think that you have reached you limit in experience just remember, till 1969 the sky was the limit and than man walked on the moon…

IN THE NATIONAL COMPENDIUM OF AIESEC IN THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA as follows:
Appendix IV – Topic C: Criteria for application as Member Committee Vice-President
The candidates for Vice-Presidents of the Member Committee have to fulfill the following criteria at the time of the submission of their candidatures:
• To be a full member of AIESEC for at least two years• To have passed one third (1/3) of the exams from his/her faculty• Do not to have debts towards the Local Committees or the Member Committee of AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia• To have an excellent English knowledge (understanding, writing, speaking and reading)
II: SUBMIT THE APPLICATION PACKAGE CONSISTED OF:
1. Questionnaire
• The 4th round of Applications for Member Committee is consisted of questions concerning every area of functioning, no matter the primary functional area that the candidate is applying for. This is due to the fact that AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia has no newly elected President for the term 2015/16. This causes the newly elected MC team to work under exceptional circumstances in creating the new strategies for AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia in collaboration with the current MCP, and this is the reason why candidates with knowledge from every area of work are needed.
• Answer to all questions should be max 20 pages with font: Century Gothic and font size: 10. You can create and design your application esthetically however you want as long as the text is readable. Pictures and other objects are allowed. The questionnaire should be submitted in .pdf format.
2. Curriculum Vitae – CV
• The CV should be max 2 pages and submitted in .pdf format.
3. Application summary
• A one-page summary of your entire application. It should be submitted in .pdf format.
4. Video
The video must be maximum 5 minutes, and should be uploaded on youtube.com according to the following rules (at the end of this booklet you can find the instruction and rules) and the link to the video included in the application package in .doc or .txt format. The video must include the following:
• Motivation and reason for applying for Member Committee Vice President• Your answer to the question: ‘What is the biggest question that lies in front of AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia today and what is its solution?’
5. Endorsement letters (total of 4):
• One from someone you led• One from someone who led you• One from someone you work/worked with• One from an external person who is not associated with AIESEC
Note: Contact information for all of the endorsement providers is required.
6. Action plan
Please provide an action plan for 3 strategies that you would like to implement for your primary MCVP position that you are applying for, taking in consideration:• Every month of the term• All the external and internal factors that would affect the activities• The concrete action steps that would lead towards achievement of the above mentioned strategies
Note: The action plan should be submitted in .xls format.
III: RULES FOR SUBMITTION
•The application package together with the support letter from your superior should be submitted latest till14.05.2015 – 23:59h GMT+02
•The application package (consisted of 9 documents) together with the support letter from your superior should be submitted on
macedonia@aiesec.net within the above mentioned deadline.
•All documents should be sent in a ZIP file with the title: “MCVP15.16_Application_Your Name”
IMPORTANT: Late submission or incomplete applications will not be considered as valid, for whatever reasons. After the validation process, a Confirmation letter will be sent to all applicants within 24 hours.

4. AIESEC 2020 will be created and started during your term. How will you make sure that AIESEC in Republic of Macedonia is aligned and adapted for the new global direction? How will you manage this change to ensure smooth and fast transition?
5. How do you envision AIESEC in Macedonia at the end of the 2015/2016 term? Take into consideration the following aspects:

1. What is driving you to continue in AIESEC?
2. What do you see as your biggest achievement in AIESEC that shaped your personality?
3. Considering your top strengths and weaknesses, what do you bring to a team?
4. Explain AIESEC in your own words. How is it relevant to the world? How is it relevant to Macedonia?
5. What is the link between who you are, what AIESEC is for you, and the youth leadership that Macedonia deserves?
6. What will be your unique contribution to AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia as Vice President 15/16?
6. What will AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia remember about the 2015/2016 term? Describe which will be the key milestones you commit to strive for during your term. You must indicate KPIs, MOSs, reach in the market, structures and so on.
7. In the past 2 years, our focus program has been oGIP. Create an assessment and SWOT analysis per each outgoing program. What are your ideas and thoughts about the upcoming term, related to this question and the focus program.
8. How (with concrete actions steps) are you going to ensure a proper and professional delivery of our national partnerships (involving universities, companies, TN takers etc.) both from business development and marketing perspective. Please be concrete and concise as much as possible.
9. Provide critical observation towards TM, as part of the Back Office in the Outgoing and Incoming Operations.
10. How would you make sure that there is constant alignment between the Front Office and the Back Office towards every Outgoing and Incoming Operation separately? Please provide your own methods from strategic, tactical and operational level.
11.Name three concrete strategies how will you, as MC member, contribute to the financial sustainability of AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia for the long term?
12. Analyze the current external positioning state (from marketing aspect) for each LC/SU, and name concrete steps how can the new MC team ensure proper continuance of it for the following terms.
13. In your opinion, what are the key challenges Information Management in AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia is facing? Propose a strategy for achieving an upgraded IM and increased IT infrastructure in 2015/2016. Be as specific as possible.
14. Elaborate concrete action steps that the new MC team should undertake in order for the national PBoX project(s) to be 100% aligned and successfully implemented , taking into consideration the different reality and requirements of all the entities in AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia?
Instructions for video upload
As stated previously, these are the instructions for uploading the video which takes part of the application package:
1. In order to upload a video on YouTube (www.youtube.com) you need to be logged in (use your aiesec.net email account). To check on which account you're logged in, in the top right corner, click on the round picture and check the currently used account.
2. When you pick your aiesec.net email account, click on upload.
3. After you click, this is what you're going to get on the screen.
4. From here you can choose if your video is going to be Public, Private, Unlisted. You need to choose Unlisted. The video format should be .mp4. If its some other kind of format, YouTube might not recognized it or it will need more time to convert it in the previously mentioned format.
5. When you upload the video, it is required for you to watch it. After you watch it and determine that everything is okay, copy the video link and paste it into your MC VP Application on a separate text document.
