UID Suppliers Alliance Expanded Legislative briefings on Capitol Hill with over 100 senior

Senate/House staff members as well as staff on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform

Submitted legislative reporting language for FY10 appropriations budget that was included in the House Defense Authorization Bill.

Received bi-partisan House support of a letter to Secretary of Defense Panetta and Peter Orszag, OMB (Office of Management and Budget) requesting increased funding to ensure improved adoption of UID within the DoD.

Achieved joint Senate sponsorship of a letter to Ashton Carter, Under Secretary of Defense for AT&L, requesting stronger enforcement and more resources to fully implement the IUID initiative.
