    26 AIMS ANNUAL MANAGEMENT EDUCATION CONVENTION on REJUVENATING MANAGEMENT EDUCATIONTH

    (21st, 22nd & 23rd August, 2014)

    At Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA), Ganeshkhind, Pune

    AIMS National Management Week was launched in the first week of August 2012 as one of the social initiatives, It has been a big success during thelast two years when quite a number of institutes performed the event with keen interest in contributing something to the society. It is going to becontinued year after year. I exhort and request one and all to Come together, Work together and Achieve together the initiative undertaken by AIMSin the larger interests of the society as a whole.

    Guidelines for Participating Institutes

    1. AIMS Member Institutes, whose membership is valid at the time of entry to the competition, are eligible to participate by celebrating AIMSNational Management Week from 1 to 7 August, 2014 (either on all the days or some of the days during this period).

    2. Each participating institute should submit a report on the proceedings (in a PDF file), giving a brief account of the activities taken up during thespecified period only, and the report should not exceed 20 (twenty) pages in double line spacing in Arial, Font 12, including some importantphotos.

    Some of the suggested activities which can be taken up for the purpose are as follows:

    Rural and community development activities.

    Educational activities Programmes for schools and colleges.

    Free HealthCare and blood donation camps, associating some NGOs and hospitals

    Training small and tiny enterprise owners and managers

    Visits to hospitals, old-age homes, orphanages and prisons for rendering social service

    Public and student awareness activities related to scholarships, road safety, RTI and so on

    Sports, including 2k or 5k run with other Colleges.

    Any other activity thought to be of use to public and students.

    3. There will be three awards in this competition for the top three institutes. Each selected institute will be awarded a Gold Medal and a Certificate.

    4. After initial screening by the Jury, heads of selected institutes, will be invited to make a presentation of their activities at the 26 AIMS Annualth

    Management Education Convention to be held at Pune.

    5. They will participate in the Convention as invited guests and, in addition to local hospitality, one representative of the school will be reimbursedAC (II) tier return fare by the shortest route.
