Alyssa Berg All Saints Childcare Teacher
Alyssa brought a great deal of experience with her in working with children before joining the staff at All Saints. She worked as an assistant teacher in New Ulm and as a dance coach for Kindergarteners through 2nd graders. Alyssa has her AAS degree in Child Development. Alyssa’s family consists of her parents, her brother, and her dog, Zoey. She loves anything outdoors – hunting, fishing, camping, and being with her dog. Alyssa also treasures the time she spends with her family. Regarding her thoughts about being a teacher at All
Saints, Alyssa says, “I love watching how the kids change and grow everyday. Having such great parents to work with makes the job enjoyable. And our great team of coworkers makes coming to work so much fun everyday!”
Liz Blaschko All Saints Academy Director EC4 Preschool Teacher Liz has been with All Saints Academy since 1998. Before joining the staff here, she had been a family daycare provider and a nutrition educator. Liz has a B.S. degree in Nutrition from MN State University -‐Mankato, (CDA) Child Development Associate Credential and (MNITC) Minnesota Infant Toddler Credential. In addition to serving as the Director of All Saints Academy, Liz is also the preschool teacher for the EC4 classroom. She also is an RBPD (Relationship Based Professional Development) Specialist and is a MNCPD (Minnesota Center for Professional Development) Content Trainer. Liz and her husband, Marty, have two children and two dogs. In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening, and crafts. She also likes attending hockey games with friends, time on the lake, and traveling. One of the many aspects of Liz’s job that she enjoys is “the ability to be creative and work with amazing people!”
Lydia Brandt All Saints Childcare Assistant Teacher Lydia is a valuable asset in our preschool-‐age childcare classrooms. She is currently a student at MN State University – Mankato where she is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Lydia grew up on a farm with her parents and four sisters. She enjoys playing volleyball, four-‐wheeling, going on walks, and shopping. Lydia says the best thing about working at All Saints is “the opportunity to be creative with children!”
Kathleen (Katie) Crnokrak All Saints Childcare Assistant Teacher
Katie is currently a student at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato where she is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Before coming to All Saints, Katie spent two summers as a YMCA camp counselor. Katie is the second youngest in a family of six children. She plays soccer at Bethany and likes to read and go camping in her spare time. Katie explains her love of the job by simply saying, “I love working with kids!”
Anniebelle Dingman All Saints Academy Assistant Director Childcare Teacher
Anniebelle has been a member of the All Saints team since 2009. Before joining the staff here, she taught Early Head Start for a number of years and had been a stay-‐at-‐home mom for about six years. Anniebelle has been working with children since she was sixteen years old. She graduated from South Dakota State University with a B.S. degree in Human Development, Child and Family Studies. In her spare time, Anniebelle enjoys being with her husband, Dan, and their two children. She also likes to
garden, read, travel, and cook. Of her work at All Saints, Anniebelle comments, “What a blessing to be part of this great team. I enjoy working with the families and especially playing an important role in guiding children’s behavior in a positive, supportive, and age-‐appropriate ways. It makes me love being a teacher!”
Erin Donovan All Saints Childcare Teacher Erin joined the team at All Saints Academy in 2015. Before this, she earned her B.S. degree from Iowa State University – Ames, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Child, Adult, and Family Services. Erin is currently enrolled in the masters program for Mental Health Counseling at MN State University – Mankato. She has experience as a Lead Teacher in a childcare setting from when she worked at a daycare in Ames, IA and has also gained experience from the many summers and weekends she spent babysitting. Erin is the second oldest of six kids and enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys golfing, Netflixing, painting, and reading.
Shelby Grangruth All Saints Childcare Teacher Shelby grew up in Waseca where she graduated from high school. She attended Rasmussen College and started her degree in Graphic Design her senior year of high school. She worked as an assistant teacher, and then lead teacher in the Toddler room at Grace Garden for almost 6 years. She also has experience in the infant room and taught 2 summers of school age children too. Shelby moved to Rochester, Minnesota where she began her dream of becoming a part time photographer and fulltime nanny to 3 amazing kids. She has been doing that the past four years and will continue to watch the children on Wednesdays. So she will be here at ASA Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. She is now going back to school for Health Management to further her education. She states, “I love working with children and being involved in their education.”
Angela Groehler All Saints Childcare Teacher Before joining the staff at All Saints in 2017, Angela spent time as a paraprofessional at a public school district and as a classroom teacher for an after-‐school and summer childcare program. Angela has earned her AAS degree in Sales Management and has completed the (MNITC) – Minnesota Infant Toddler Credential. Angela and her husband, John, have been married for 18 years and have a 12-‐year-‐old son named Cree. She and her family enjoy spending time together, especially with their family dog, a Labrador named Bear. Angela also enjoys reading, gardening, football, and making fishing lures. Angela says, “My co-‐workers are wonderful. The children are loving and fun. And the families are so kind and trusting. It is the utmost rewarding career!”
McKenzie (Kenzie) Kuball All Saints Childcare Teacher Aide
Kenzie joined our staff at All Saints in 2017 after she graduated from WEM High School in Waterville, MN. Kenzie has had years of experience working with children due to all the babysitting and working as a nanny she has done. Kenzie enjoys spending time with her parents and many siblings. Her favorite activities take place outdoors, including hunting, fishing, sports, and games. Kenzie is looking forward to working at All Saints and says she is most excited about being able “to help the kids learn and watch them grow!”
Kelly Madigan All Saints Academy Administrative Assistant
Kelly grew up in Madison Lake and has been a lifelong member of All Saints Parish. Kelly earned a B.S. degree in Professional Geography from MN State University – Mankato and has worked in a variety of environments, including a bank, a hospital, a nursing home, and a large office. In her spare time, Kelly likes to read, travel, and spend time with friends and family, including her parents, brother, sister-‐in-‐law, and a niece and nephew whom she loves to spoil! Kelly also enjoys water aerobics and playing darts.
Kelly likes the variety and challenges of her job. She says the best part about All Saints Academy is “the kids and the ‘homey’ atmosphere.”
Sophia Malakowsky All Saints Childcare Teacher Aide
Sophia is a recent graduate of Maple River High School and has had previous experience working in a childcare setting. Sophia enjoys spending time with her friends and her family, which includes her parents, two sisters, one brother, two brothers-‐in-‐law, one niece, and one nephew. Sophia says her favorite thing about working here “is that everyone at All Saints is like on big family!”
Nanette (Nan) Otto All Saints Childcare Assistant Teacher
Nan has seventeen years of working in Title 1 and as a Special Education Paraprofessional with the Mankato school district. Her experience and knowledge are greatly appreciated by both the staff and the children in the preschool-‐age classrooms where she spends the majority of her workdays. Nan is married and has three children, two step-‐children, and four grandchildren and is grateful for the time she can spend with family. She also finds enjoyment in cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, fishing, and laughing with friends.
One of Nan’s favorite things about All Saints is “all the activity that goes on! The children are always engaged in fun and educational pursuits – it’s so wonderful to see how this leads to positive growth and development in all the kids!”
Maggie Perreault All Saints Childcare Teacher Aide and Cook
Maggie came to us with experience in not only food service, but in working with adults in group homes and nursing homes. Maggie and her husband have two pets and enjoy spending time with their friends and extended families. She also enjoys being outside, boating, watching movies, and traveling to theme parks.
Helen Peterson All Saints Parish Administrator Helen graduated from MN State University – Mankato with a B.S. degree in Management, Marketing, and Industrial Relations. She was also in the first class of The Lay Ministry Institute for the Diocese of Winona. Helen has worked off and on at All Saints for eighteen years. Helen and her husband, Chuck, have two sons, two daughter-‐in-‐laws, and two grandsons. She is grateful for the time she gets to spend with family. Helen also likes to travel, and garden, and she volunteers with a medical mission group. Helen likes seeing the many children and families who are helped daily by the Academy. She states, “Also, we have a fine staff that I am so impressed with! Everyone works so hard!”
Christina (Chris) Sanders All Saints Childcare Teacher
Chris spent nineteen years providing in-‐home daycare which equipped her with wonderful knowledge and experience that she makes use of at All Saints every day. She has completed the (MNITC) Minnesota Infant Toddler Credential and Infant (CDA) Child Development Associate Credential. Chris and her husband, Ryan, have five children and consider the time they get to spend together to be a blessing. In her free time, Chris enjoys gardening, scrapbooking, and reading. Chris describes her feelings toward All Saints Academy by saying, “I love working with kids. I love their smiling faces
every day.”
Kathy Sieberg All Saints Childcare Teacher Aide
Kathy spends her days here in the infant room where she can be found rocking the babies. Kathy is married and has four children, nine grandchildren, and two great-‐grandchildren. In her free time, Kathy likes to cross-‐stitch and attend her grandchildren’s sporting events. She spends many hours at the hockey rink and soccer fields. What does Kathy like about working at All Saints? “I like the people I work with and the babies!”
Joslyn Sutton All Saints Childcare Teacher / EC3 Preschool Teacher
Joslyn joined the staff at All Saints Academy in 2017. She brings over twenty years experience working with children to the job and has earned her AAS in Early Childhood Education. Joslyn and her husband, CJ, have been married for seventeen years and have three daughters, one dog, one turtle, and one goldfish. She appreciates spending time with her family, who love to travel and go camping as much as possible. Joslyn also enjoys reading, playing games, crocheting, and watching movies.
Joslyn is excited to have become a member of the All Saints staff and says, “I can’t wait to watch the children learn and grow everyday! I feel so lucky to be able to work with such a talented and caring staff!”
Robyn Wortel All Saints Childcare Teacher Robyn started at All Saints in 2007 and has spent time working in all the childcare classrooms here. Most recently, she made the switch from the Infant room to the Toddler room, where she is now the full-‐time lead teacher. Prior to starting at All Saints, Robyn earned her AAS degree in Child Development and gained experience through working at a childcare center while she was attending college. Robyn’s family includes her parents, her brother, her sister, and her new kitten, Little Doz. She is a graduate of Loyola Catholic School in Mankato. Robyn enjoys cooking, scrapbooking, exercising and playing sports, and spending time with her family. She is a big Minnesota sports fan and loves watching and cheering for Brian Dozier and the Twins, as well as the Timberwolves, Vikings, Mavericks, and Gophers! Robyn enjoys her position as a teacher at All Saints and says, “I love the kids and the staff. Watching the little ones grow and change so quickly is fun. Coming into work every day puts a smile on my face no matter how I am feeling!”
Kylie Zellmann All Saints Childcare Assistant Teacher Kylie is currently student at MN State University – Mankato and brings experience as a nanny, babysitter, and childcare employee at Trinity Lutheran to her position here. Kylie’s family includes her parents, four siblings, and one nephew. Besides working with children, Kylie’s favorite activities include hiking, biking, swimming, and other outdoor activities. Kylie appreciates the staff at All Saints and says her co-‐workers are, “very friendly and easy to talk to.” She also states that she’s, “excited to see what I learn working here!”
