describe everything you can see. How much of the moon can you see? What

phase is the moon at?

already know about space. Can you remember who first walked on the

moon and what year was it?

Our Solar SystemDraw a picture to show the planets

in our solar system. Can you remember the order of the planets

from the sun?

Favourite PlanetMake a fact file about your favourite planet. What do you like best about

it? How it is different from other planets in our solar system?

Bubble Painting

If you have paint at home, add a little washing up liquid and blow bubbles

into it using a straw. Place some paper over the top to make a great

planet surface.

Our solar systemListen to the the Solar System Song to learn the different planets in our solar system and their order. Which

planet is the biggest?

Make a planet mobile Colour in a paper plate or circular piece of paper using blue paint or

pencils. Then cut a spiral shape through it. You can add planets

instead of stars, then hang it up in your bedroom.

Use some plastic lids to make the planets. You add some details with

paint or felt pens.

Space DanceFind some planet or space dances to

join in with. Pinkfong, Just Dance and Ready Set Dance have some

Astronaut AerobicsAstronauts have to be fit and agile for their missions into space. Can

you design a home workout and put your agility to the test! You could

even use Mr Garcia's video to help.

Floating in SpaceFind some ‘space music’ to listen to.

Close your eyes and imagine yourself slowly travelling through the solar system. Float past all the planets before you return to earth!
