George Washington is probably the most well known American Revolutionary. He was the general of the Continental army. He was also the first President.

John Hancock is known as an American Revolutionary for making his name huge on the Declaration of Independence.

Benjamin Franklin was a scientist. As a scientist he is famous for the lightning rod. But as an American Revolutionary he is famous for his many trips back and forth from America to France. To try and get the French to fight the British. He also wrote the ORIGINAL Declaration of Independence. Before Thomas Jefferson.

Thomas Paine is known as an American Revolutionary for writing many pamphlets to rally Americans. His most famous pamphlet is Common Sense.
