Amisha & Premal : Hindu Wedding – Devi Garh, Udaipur, India

Well, what can I say about Amisha and Premal’s fairy tale wedding? Words fail, but perhaps this epic post might sum it up! So sit back, relax, grab a cup of chai and let me take you on an Indian fairy tale adventure!

There were plenty of festivities leading up to the wedding; firstly, the welcome party at Chunda Palace in Udaipur city. This was followed by Mehndi and Sangeet the next day at Devi Garh , and finally on Sunday, the Mandvo and Wedding.

Nestled in the Aravali Hills, the 18th century Devi Garh palace in the village of Delwara was the setting for Amisha & Premal’s wedding. True to style, Premal arrived on an elephant along with a huge band which created enough noise for some of the local kids to run up and quench their curiosity. Amisha was carried in on a traditional Indian dholi for the wedding, which started at sunset and climaxed with the departure of the bride and groom on a camel cart.
