*Occupational identity

*Hiking

*I enjoy the outdoors and the element of fitness hiking/tramping has. I also enjoy the social side of it and the place you can go.

*Vintage car rally's

Vintage cars have been a part of my life from when I was a child my family share a passion for vintage cars this influenced my love for old cars and the passion I have for them. This picture is of my car, I am known for my old school car in the local community and can be identified by my car.

*Sister/familyI am the middle child in my family I am a role model to my younger brother. I have a strong bond with both of my brothers, having two brothers has shaped who I am today and in the way I was brought up. They helped me to develop a strong personality and not to be shy.

*Skiing I have always

had a passion for skiing and have shared this passion with my older brother, skiing forces me to push myself out of my comfort zone and test my limits. Which is what I love about the sport.

*rowing

Rowing has been a main occupation for me for the past 5 years it helped to give me skills in and out of rowing. Because of the high demands of the sport I had to be very disciplined with what I did and how I made us of my time. It taught me life skills and quality's to life.

*boating

Ever since I can remember my family and friends have done boating in the summer time, through this I have learned how to waterski and drive a boat. Though this I have developed a love for the outdoors and for water! This is part of my identity as it has been apart of my life for 20 years and will continue to be apart of it for many more.

*Friends Having such a close strong group of friends has helped me to develop social skills, confidence and be able to interact with other social groups.

*basketball

I can be identified through basketball as I have played the sport for seven years and still continue to play the sport. It has taught me about team work, sportsmanship.

*Work I have worked a the Lone Star for just under a year. I work at both the Invercargill and Dunedin restaurants. *farming

I was brought up on a farm and so where my parents, I think it was a great place for my brothers and I to be brought up in. it taught us skills that most town kids wouldn't’t get the opportunity to do e.g. drive a motor bike, tractor, sheer a sheep and things like that.
