started a collaborative QI project

with the division of Continuing

Medical Education at OHSU.

The project is the creation of a

systematic tool for incorporating

improvement into the Morbidity

Looking Towards the Future:

Chapter sustainability

Expansion of our Chapter to

other institutions

To continue to engage other

health care disciplines

To encourage the development

of other Chapters in the state of

Oregon.

Goals:

Short term:

Leadership team members complete the

Basic Open School Certification

Focus on establishing our infrastructure

as a chapter including leadership role

development, PSU and OHSU

sponsorship as a student group.

Work on a QI project in the community as

a leadership team

Long term:

Becoming a community organization

Have 100 active participants

Getting state/national recognition

Incorporating IHI Open School curricula

into the curriculum at PSU and other

institutions.

Collaborate to achieve the first West

Coast IHI Open School Chapter Regional

Conference.
