1. Attention (AIDA)

• We should consider this for our horror trailer, however we may not be able to use ‘bright lighting’, so we will have to carefully thing about the composition, shot type and background.

2. Iconography (AIDA)

• This is important, as the audience need to know the genre of the product, and we can do this by including iconography of the horror genre in our ancillary tasks.

3. Interest (AIDA)

• Our film deals with an unrealistic narrative, and deals with the theme of supernatural. This option is a great method of provoking anticipation.

4. Appeal (AIDA)

• Appeal can be gained through a number of techniques. A way we could do this is include film ratings, to create interest.

5. Style

• Style is an important aspect to consider for ancillary tasks, consistent, bold and artistic styles should be used for memorability. Despite the fact that we are creating a horror trailer there are still methods that we can incorporate artistic styles into our ancillary tasks.
