2013 - 2014 ACHIEVEMENTS
We know that in order to end the HIV epidemic, we must remain steadfast in our commitments to push the envelope, pioneer new initiatives, embrace innovation, engage even more people in community, and think big. 2013 was no exception, in addition to the wide range of free programs and services for HIV support and prevention delivered year-round, we also:
DISTRIBUTED 349,324 condoms and 266,882 lube packs as part of our outreach efforts across Toronto.
CELEBRATED ACT’s 30 years of service with a gala event to honour the invaluable contributions of our volunteers, past and present.
BENEFITED from the amazing support of our volunteers who contributed 20,017 hours to ACT programs, services and event initiatives - the equivalent of over 10 full time staff.
RAISED half a million dollars through our annual signature events: SNAP! and the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life Toronto.
