Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges' Association (KPPGCA):

A.J. Institute of Management (NAAC accredited with B+ Grade) is

a stand-alone MBA Institute, offering two-year full time MBA program, affiliated to Mangalore

University and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi. It is a constituent unit of Laxmi Memorial

Education Trust, which manages a network of multiple campuses, offering UG and PG programs in

Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Paramedical, Physiotherapy, Engineering and Management. Having

begun its journey in 1999, A J Institute of Management has carved a distinguished name in the field

of teaching, learning, research, publication and extension activities over the period.

KPPGCA -established on

Jan 2003- was born of a felt need of a professional body to provide proactive support to professional

education by streamlining the admissions to PG professional courses such as MBA, PGDM and

MCA. Since its inception, KPPGCA has been orchestrating the process of admissions to MBA and

MCA courses to fill the management quota of seats in its member Institutions (169) by holding

Karnataka Management Admission Test (KMAT) across Karnataka, besides its sphere heading

variety of academic, circular and co-curricular programs.

Social entrepreneurs drive social innovation and transformation in various fields including

education, health, environment and enterprise development. They pursue poverty alleviation goals

with entrepreneurial zeal, business methods with the courage to innovate and overcome traditional

practices. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) consciousness received a renewed vigour when it

was incorporated in the Companies Act 2013, urging companies to spend a part of their profits on

social activities. Taking the cue, the corporate sector is venturing beyond the mandated CSR

spending huge funds on activities such as energy conservation; environment protection; and

development of an innovative spirit among workers to foster productivity and industrial growth.

Ÿ The Papers should be based on original research work not yet published, not exceeding 2500 words or 7 pages. If the paper has been sent for publication elsewhere, the fact must be declared.

Ÿ It should include the title, author's name, mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address. Soft copy should be submitted in A4 size, MS-Word format only with Times New Roman font with heading in font size 14 and remaining text size 12 spacing 1.5 as a single line to the Conference E-mail. Selected paper will be published in special edition of Institutes indexed journal Anveshana
