Conclusions

� Remote sensing (all scales) has enormous

potential for farmers

� Especially ‘tractor-mounted’ and ‘Drones’

� Beware error of ‘spurious’ accuracy

� Further development depends on new ‘user-

friendly’ software (smart phones etc.)

much developmental work still needed for fully

practical systems, esp. with UAVs
