Appachi Cottons, India, is the latest addition to the GBF portfolio. GBF’s support is helping Appachi scale up, create brand awareness around its high quality cotton, and develop a ginning facility so it can pass along better prices to its farmers.

KZ Noir, Rwanda is a coffee collection and processing company, which purchases, processes and exports raw and semi-processed coffee from over 6,000 smallholder farmers. GBF is providing working capital to help KZ Noir improve its capital base and buy more coffee for processing.

NOVICA, Global, is a global e-commerce platform which sources from artisans such as Nyoman Lentong, who sells traditional Balinese flutes. GBF has been helping NOVICA strengthen its artisan supply chain, open its Guatemala office, and find other ways to reach a widespread network of artisans.

Alamanda, Indonesia, sources raw produce from farmers in Java and Sumatra. GBF is supporting Alamanda in scaling up, refining its financial management, and streamlining its supply chain to generate more social impact for its smallholder farmers and employees.

Natural Habitats, Ecuador, has a supply chain that impacts over 1,900 beneficiaries. GBF is helping Natural Habitats obtain environmental certifications to increase its return and social impact, and explore other areas to source its certified organic palm oil, RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil).

Servals, India, provides clean, efficient, and affordable burners and stoves to low income consumers, mostly in rural areas. GBF is helping Servals to expand its geographic reach, set up better distribution channels, and launch and approve biomass stoves.

Wamu, Kenya, supports the purchase of vegetables from thousands of smallholder farmers. GBF is helping them scale up on their own, strengthen their supply chain and their own production.

Villa Andina, Peru, procures, produces and exports several fruits from a large network of low income farmers. GBF is helping Villa Andina increase production capacity and strengthen several areas including finance, operations and governance.

IndusTree Crafts, India produces housewares and apparels from a wide network of artisans. GBF’s investment and advisory services have helped IndusTree obtain key certifications and permits and strengthen its supply chain, financial management, and planning.

BrazAfric, Kenya, helps a lot of farmers and individuals with productivity improvements and energy savings equipment. Through agricultural and coffee equipment including co-ops that reach 69,000 low income farmers throughout East Africa.

TARA Machines, India, manufactures environmentally positive construction materials. GBF’s advisory services have helped TARA to refine its green products offering, strengthen its E&S social aspects and improve its overall management and planning.
