Aquadron® – treating pathogens and reducing operating costs• Aquadron systems are fully automated for the production of disinfectant

called Anolyte.• The technical principles comply with BS EN 901 – Chemicals used for the

treatment of water.• The system manufactures a pure sodium hypochlorite / hypochlorous

solution that is pH neutral.• The system achieves compliance with the guidelines in ACOP L8.• The disinfectant solution kills pathogens very quickly, so only a low dose

is required, the Anolyte will also remove the biofilm that harbours pathogens.

• The system replaces the need for thermal barriers (60+°C water) or chemical treatments – saving energy and money.

• The system is in use in hospitals, schools, swimming pools, hotels and care homes in Germany.

• The only raw material needed is common salt.

Independent Testing

Birmingham Universities Antimicrobials Research Group – Exposure of all species tested to ‘New Energy Management Ltd Anolyte’ at recommended working concentrations for water disinfection resulted in a complete kill of all four species when tested in water within a five minute period. This represented a greater than 8 log reduction in viable numbers.

This study investigated the comparative activity of Anolyte in killing a panel of representative hospital pathogens and water plant contaminants;

Escherichia coli, methicillin resistant S.aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Legionella pneumophilia.
