The piece has to contain a triangle, because all the complete rows and columns contain one rectangle, square and triangle. So that eliminates

choices 3, 4 and 5.

The piece has to contain a flat yellow oval, because the row it is in contains other pieces with flat yellow ovals. So that eliminates pieces 4, 6 and 8,

leaving 1, 2 and 7.

The piece also has to have a flat yellow oval at the bottom, because the row already contains pieces with flat yellow ovals at the top and middle. That

eliminates choice 1.
