THE COURSE
Inaugurated in 2006, Argentario Golf Club was designed by
architect David Mezzacane and professional golfer Baldovino
Dassù. The 18 holes were subsequently shaped by Brian Jorgensen.
The result is a varied, spectacular and technically challenging
course. Among the panoramic 18 holes immersed in the
Mediterranean vegetation, two dominate the sea and the lagoon.
Argentario Golf Club has hosted many important golf
tournaments, including the Italian Master Championship and the
BMW Ladies Italian Open.
The climate is mitigated by the lagoon, the sea and the hills,
allowing for golf to be played all year round. A refreshing breeze
mitigates the temperature and adds an extra challenge to the game
that requires a combination of accuracy and power.
ECO-FRIENDLINESS
Argentario Golf Club has been awarded with the “BioAgriCert”and
“Impegnati col Verde” environmental certifications for its
sustainable maintenance practices.
