What is an assessment centre

Method used by employers to select candidates by using a variety of interviews, tests, presentations and group exercises

Usually the last stage of the recruitment process Typically a small number of candidates Normally held in comfortable surroundings

Getting selected for an assessment centre

Being chosen means you are a very strong candidate

Only a small proportion of candidates get through to this stage

You have shown you possess the skills they are looking for

You are much closer to getting a job offer

MEN:

Dark, conservative business suit Dress shirt, preferably white Colour coordinated tie – not too flashy Clean black conservative dress shoes Conservative black dress belt Dark socks (navy or black) Minimum of jewelry Well groomed – shave and get a haircut! Avoid too much aftershave
