Assessment in HE Webinar 6
Reflection on progress
What have you learned?
Reflection on progress
What might you do differently in future? What more do you want to find out about?
Reflection on the delivery
• What’s it been like to participate?• Advantages? Disadvantages?
In Week 3, we asked you• What is it like to participate in an online
course? • What are the barriers to participation?
At the time, you said:
• online courses are easier to access as you don't have travel time. Unfortunately it always seems really hard to keep that as protected time
• great not having to physically go to another venue
• Barrier: Avoiding office distractions• website is a bit complicated, quite a lot
of links and webspace. Updates may easily be missed
• Convenient - have been able to fit it in even around v busy marking period
• More self-discipline is needed for an online course, perhaps?
Review of this week’s task
