BACKGROUND

• E-Learning has been implemented only in institutions of higher learning centre.

• The existing e-learning tutoring systems used in Malaysian schools are limited to multiple choice questions or subjective questions for lower secondary schools.

• Focus on upper secondary schools for both multiple choice and subjective questions

• This package serves as a complement to traditional classroom teaching.

• It includes learning, discussion, evaluation, exploration modules, organizer and calendar.

IMPLEMENTATION• As a pilot project in Alam Shah Science Secondary School,

Kuala Lumpur.

• 20 Form 4 students were involved in this project.

• Topic chosen was ‘FUNCTIONS’ of Form 4 Additional Mathematics.

• After teaching sessions, a pretest was given to all the students.

• After 5 months, experimental group which consisted of 10 students were exposed to e-addmaths package.

• Control group which consisted of 10 students did their revision by traditional exercise.

• A post test was given to both groups

of students.
