Industry snapshot
MF industry assets declined marginally to | 23.2 lakh crore in
March 2019 from | 23.4 lakh crore in February 2019 on the
back of outflows from money market funds.
Corpus of equity oriented funds rose to |11.55 lakh crore in
March from |10.59 lakh crore on the back of inflows into pure
equity scheme and institutional inflows into ETFs apart from
mark to market gains on equity holdings
Strong inflows and rise in market led to corpus of equity oriented
schemes touch new all time high at | 11.55 lakh crore
Inflows into oriented funds rise substantially to | 19000 crore in March compared
to | 9200 crore in February
