The New Timken Company Timken took the boldest move in
our company's history with the
2003 acquisition of The Torrington
Company. This increased our size
by nearly 50%. By successfully
integrating these two industry
leaders, we are creating a platform
for growth - and boundless oppor-
tunities for our future.
A Brand You Can Trust Our master brand - Timken - is our
most powerful asset. So when we
added Torrington and other sub-
brands to the Timken family,
we multiplied that power. Timken's
name is only on the kind of quality
products and services our cus-
tomers have come to expect from
us ... and on some that exceed
their expectations.

MANUFACTURINGThe combination of Timken and Torrington expands our product line andour competitive edge in more than 80 manufacturing plants. What's thegoal to continue offering products that extend beyond the bearing itselfto the environment around the bearing. To ensure design control, all partdimensions and specifications are maintained in our centralized database.
In addition to the products Timken manufacturers, we supplement thatproduct offering with service parts from other suppliers. Sample productsare obtained from external suppliers, then tested in Timken labs to ensureall products meet Tikmen stringent quality standards.
HUBSOriginal Equipment market strengths are transferred to our aftermarkethubs, offering customers a completed line of quality replacement parts. For example, the front wheels of the 2004 Nissan Titan truck containTimken SENSOR-PACTM bearings, hub assemblies and other Timkenparts.
A complete line of hub assemblies including SENSOR-PAC, UNIPACTM and UNIPAC-PLUSTM bearings are in included in this catalog.Timken hub units are pre-set, pre-greased and pre-sealed, which makes installation easier.
SEALSTimken understands the criticality of seals in this industry. In fact, Timken has more than 50 design patents on seal technolo-gy. Every seal sold by Timken is manufactured with the same quality thatgoes into every Timken bearing.
