Automotive Fundamentals Program at Moultrie Technical College.

Program Description The Automotive Fundamentals program is a sequence of courses designed to

prepare students for careers in the automotive service and repair profession. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge

and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of automotive mechanics theory and

practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive an Automotive Fundamentals diploma that qualifies

them as well rounded entry-level technicians. This program is industry accredited through the National Automotive Technicians

Education Foundation (NATEF) in accordance with Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards.

Additional Program RequirementsStudents are required to purchase an automotive tool set

upon graduation. Tools are required for employment at most job sites.
