Beautiful day for our Weir Farm visit!

Jacksonians Annual Golf Scramble at Burr Oak Wednesday, August 25, 2021

Over 80 retirees and their children and grandchildren enjoyed a beautiful low

humidity day visiting Weir Farms. Thank you to Weir Farms Phil, Bruce,

Amanda, and their crew for inviting us to spend the day at their farm. Some of us

were able to see a calf being born that very day! The day was spent with an

overview of Consumers Energy by Garrick Rochow, CEO of Consumers Energy.

Garrick spent some time telling his story and view of the companies future. In

addition, he answered questions from our retirees and witnessed a farm in

action. We would like to thank event chairperson Kathy Lake for organizing this

event, along with Louis Wisniewski for his hot dog cooking skills!

Time to come out and join Bob and friends at our Annual

Jacksonians Golf Scramble at Burr Oak Golf Course, 3491 N. Parma Road. A

beautiful course with, rolling terrain and scenic vistas.

Registration begins in the parking lot between 8:00-8:30 am.

We will be starting from “Parking Lot to your Hole”

We would appreciate it if you could register early.

The first 64 reservations will have priority.

Senior women have their own tees.

Entry fee is $22 for Jacksonians members and $24 for non-members.

If you’re not a golfer, come for lunch only $6 a person. Arrive around 11:30

am, and join the fun.

Burr Oak is under new management with many improvements being made. We

are looking forward to seeing you at this event.
