Beyond Orientation Blackboard GuideHow to log into Blackboard

Accessing Blackboard Open up a Web Browser(Google Chrome or Safari). Then type in this url into the address bar *or click on the link itself*:

https://blackboard.vcu.edu

You should now see a page that looks like the one below, click on the button that says “eLearning Login”

You will then be brough to a page that asks you for your “VCU eID” and “Password”, input your credentials and press “Login” *these are the credentials you created when you signed up for this course*

Once you’ve logged on, you should see a Blackboard page that looks like the one below. On the right side of the page under “My Courses”, look for “BEYOND ORIENTATION 2018: Partnering for Success in Today’s University”, then click on it

The Beyond Orientation Course Page should look like the one below, on the left side of the page look for the “Connect to Class” tab and click on it

You should now be in the “Connect to Class” page, this page will serve as the home to all previous recording sessions for this course as well as provide a link to the course in case you do not have the link provided otherwise
