“a club for parkour ( urban free runners )”

“a maze of concrete counterlevers”

“every point of the building is a challenge or jump”

Project - Parkour ClubLocation - Borough Market, 7 Stoney Street, London, SE1

A Club House specially designed for the practise of Parkour or Urban Free Running. The club had to offer an areaof relaxation, as well as areas for training. The site at 7 Stoney Street is extremely narrow tapering into a point atthe rear of the plot.

The decision was taken to go upwards incorperating a hidden stairwell in a climbing wall to a large overhanging box like object that would house the main club house. Inside the club house thebox like object that would house the main club house. Inside the club house there is a gym, bar, chillout area, leading to a roof terrace with breathtaking views of the City of London.
