foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail.3 The Joint Applicants and LAN

Peru hold the underlying authority necessary to operate the proposed codeshare services:'

3. The Joint Applicants request blanket statements of authorization allowing

them to display the LP* designator code of LAN Peru on flights operated by the Joint

Applicants (i) between points in the United States; and (ii) between points in the United

States and points in Canada. 5 Initial codeshare routes, including identification of the

operating carrier on each route, are set forth in Exhibit A.6 The Joint Applicants' flights

will connect with LAN Peru's flights serving Los Angeles and Orlando for the purpose of

transporting LAN Peru's Peru~U.S. and Peru-Canada traffic. The proposed codeshare

services will begin on or about November 1, 2015.

4. The codeshare services contemplated herein are fully consistent with the

U.S.-Peru Air Transport Agreement. That agreement allows U.S. and Peruvian air
