Xcel Energy is committed to working closely with landowners, local governments and residents to successfully build and operate the 200 megawatt Blazing Star 1 Wind Farm in Lincoln County, Minn.

You are invited to attend a landowner meeting at 5 p.m. on April 9th at the Hendricks Golf Club, located at 137 North Shore Drive. Dinner will be provided. The meeting will provide an opportunity to meet Xcel Energy representatives involved in managing the construction and operation of the Blazing Star 1 Wind Farm. Please RSVP to Chad Peterson at 507.387.9600 or blazingstar@xcelenergy.com if you plan to attend. Our contractor, Mortenson Construction, will give an overview of what to expect during the construction process. Work on the project is expected to resume in late spring 2019 and be complete by the end of the year. We will notify and work with landowners before and during the construction process to keep you informed.
