LED Bulbs In Different Sizes And Different Shapes

Why LED is important?

• Easy to create• Have a variety of colours • Energy efficient • Can be reshaped into different sizes• Produces less heat compared to other bulbs• Long lifetime compared to other bulbs• Can be used in anywhere from huge lighting to nano

technology• Used in various scientific experiments

Problems with traditional lamps• Create light by heating solid materials • Most of the energy lost as heats • Inefficient • Operating cost is high • Only last 6 month• 40 and 60 watt bulbs are banned in USA• Have only one colour, Yellow • Can not be used in experiments

Efficient from other lights

Why Blue LED is exceptional?

• Blue LED is made from Gallium Nitride(GaN)• The colour BLUE can not be created easily • Its nature is different from other LED• If Blue LED is not invented, white LEDs are not

created• Eyesight of man can easily catch blue light rays

Blue LEDs structure is different from others

White light is produced from blue light

Uses of Blue LED

• Used in lighting at home, streets, markets.• Used as flash lights , search lights • Used in display of smart phones, LCD TVs. • Used in nano-technology• Used in complex lighting• For decoration

Blue LED used in camera flashlights

LED used in Television background

Blue LED Used For Decoration

LEDs Used In Street Lighting

Some disadvantages of LED

• Shift colour due to age and temperature• Need correct voltage and correct current• Initial expense is high But if we compare this disadvantages with the

disadvantages of other bulbs , it is negligible.
