Bolnore Village Bears in School

Bear With Me DaY We had a fabulous time – everyone brought in their bear and we

had a special assembly about Children in Need. We raised over £100. The children have voted to send a little of this to Kenya to help our Friendship School with funds for their

Christmas Party. (Estimated cost of £38 for 200 children to have a Christmas celebration.) For more information about St Francis

Cuckfield Christmas Tree Theme… We’ve voted for

‘Tree Trash’ with decorations made

from recycled materials – in

partnership with Bolnore Arts Group.

10 k RUN Miss France and Miss

Dugard are doing a sponsored 10k run in

February in Chichester. Join in or sponsor

them? More information coming shortly.

All funds raised will go to buy local books for

the children in our Friendship school in

Kenya.

HELMET TIME! Dear Father Christmas,

Please buy me a scooter helmet as

scootering is dangerous

and Mrs Allen is worried I might have

an accident. Also the local

residents have spotted

some accident hot spots and 19

children went by without

helmets.

British Sign Language (BSL) – Taster Sessions Silence in the corridors? Can

this be true? Yes! The children have been holding

doors open and signing ‘Thank you’.

December and Wednesday 8th December from 3.30 – 4.00pm, in the Orchard

Room for a child orientated taster session in BSL.. We’re hoping to start a club if there

OPERATION ASH CLOUD : YEAR 2 are having a week of Volcano Mania and will be making their very own volcano. Demonstration to volcanic parents on Friday after school.
