INTRODUCTION

At Copa Airlines, we continue working to offer our passengers greater flexibility. That is why it is now possible to display the attributes and conditions of our rate family structure directly on the GDS.

In this Branded Fares Handbook for Travel Agencies you will find the core information to carry out the process of quoting and booking through the different Global Distribution Systems.

BRANDED FARES

The Fare Families structure has been designed in order to provide our passengers with more alternatives so that they can choose the fare that best suits their travel needs.

PURCHASE FLOW

Entries you can use to quote Branded Fares. For further questions, please contact your GDS Help Desk.

Note: Examples are illustrative and the entries apply to any market.

1. SABRE

1.1. Displaying rates Displaying encrypted rates is possible with Fare Quote.

1.1.1. Example

• FQBOGPTY-CM

1.1.2. Description

• FQ: Required field.

• BOGPTY: City Pair.

• -CM: Airline code.

1.2. Rating an itinerary Create the reservation with the respective air segments (origin and destination)

You can quote directly from the reservation, with the Pricing commands (WP / WPNCB).

Format WP: With this entry, Sabre will quote all segments, as reserved

Format WPNCB: With this command, Sabre searches for the cheapest alternative and makes the change to the corresponding inventory

1.3. Quoting in a specific bundle You can quote directly from the reservation, with the Pricing commands specifying the Brand to be quoted.

• WPBRCLASSIC

1.3.2. Description

• WP: With this entry, Sabre will quote all segments, as reserved

• BR: Required element

• CLASSIC: Brand code

WPNCB: With this command, Sabre searches for the cheapest alternative and makes the change to the corresponding inventory

1.4. Quoting specifying Bundle and segment You may want to quote by combining Brands, using the specific code and the segment to which you want to apply it

1.4.1. Example:

• WPS1*BRBASIC¥S2*BRCLASSIC

1.4.2. Description

• WP: With this entry, Sabre will quote all segments, as reserved

• S1*BRBASIC: Apply Brand “BASIC” to segment 1

• ¥: Required command

• S2*BRCLASSIC: Apply Brand “CLASSIC” to segment 2

1.5. Air module

In Format Help mode, click Flights. Then select Flight Search.

Use this option to search for flights and click on search fares to see branded options.

When the Branded options are displayed, you will be able to see the attributes by hovering the mouse cursor over the bundle name.

Select the bundle that fits your purchasing needs and save the price

2. AMADEUS

2.1. Displaying rates Displaying encrypted rates is possible with Fare Quote.

2.1.1. Example

• FQDBOGPTY/ACM/FF

2.1.2. Description

• FQD: Required field.

• BOGPTY: City Pair.

• ACM: Airline code.

• FF: Optional command for displaying specific rates

AMADEUS 2.2. Description of the Bundle

Describes the bundle to which the rate belongs and shows us the services included and those that could be requested by applying a cost, inserting the entry FQF#.

2.2.1. Example

• FQF1

• FQF: Required command.

• 1: Number of the fare line.

Create the reservation with the respective air segments (origin and destination)

Quote directly from the reservation, with the command Pricing (FXP).

• Format FXP: Itinerary rate in the same reserved class.

2.4. Quoting using Upsell entry Displays all bundles available in the selected itinerary: FXY.

2.4.1. Description

• FXY: displays the bundle options available

2.5. Quoting in a specific bundle Add the option /FF- followed by the specific Brand code to be quoted.

2.5.1. Example

• FXP/FF-CLASSIC

2.5.2. Description

• FXP/: Itinerary rate in the same reserved class.

• FF-: Required element for Fare Families

• CLASSIC: Brand code

2.6. Quoting specifying Bundle and segment You may want to quote by combining Brands, using the specific code and the segment to which you want to apply it.

2.6.1. Example

• FXB/FF2-BASIC/FF3-CLASSIC

2.6.2. Description

• FXB/: Quote entry, finds the lowest available rate and changes the classes of the reservation (rebook)

• FF2-BASIC: Apply Brand “BASIC” to segment 2

• FF3-CLASSIC: Apply Brand “CLASSIC” to segment 3

3.1.1. Specific Branded Fare quotation

• BFA: Quote Branded Fares Rates.

• BFA1 (Basic): Quote all passengers and segments with the BF1 (Basic).

• BFA2 (Classic): Quote all passengers and all segments with the BF2 (Classic).

• BFA3 (Full): Quote all passengers and all segments with the BF3 (Full).

• BFA4 (Business Promo): Quote all passengers and all segments with the BF4 (Business Promo).

• BFA5 (Business Full): Quote all passengers and all segments with the BF5 (Business Full).

3.1.2. Book specific Branded Fare

• BFAB1 (Basic): Book all passengers and segments with the BF1 (Basic)

• BFAB2 (Classic): Book all passengers and all segments with the BF2 (Classic)

• BFAB3 (Full): Book all passengers and all segments with the BF3 (Full)

• BFAB4 (Business Promo): Book all passengers and all segments with the BF4 (Business Promo)

• BFAB5 (Business Full): Book all passengers and all segments with the BF5 (Business Full)

3.1.3. Create Ticketing Cell and Record Specific Branded Fare Rate

• 4P*S1:BF1#TR: Create Ticketing Cell Example BF1

• 4P*S1:BF2/2:BF2#TR: Create Ticketing Cell Example by segments, in which segment 1 is BF1 and segment 2 is BF2

• 4PQC: Save rate and copy cell information

On the Travelport platform, follow these steps:

• Use the graph by clicking on the button VIEW

• Click on Detail and the Branded Fare of interest by segment, then Click on Fare Quote and Rebook
