The Beechmont Tennis Club has in excess of $20,000 in the bank from hire of the courts over the years. Currently the Tennis Club is not incorporated and cannot go for its own grants. If the grants are processed through BRASA, the amount of grants for other purposes will be minimised.

This land will need to be rezoned for recreational use

We have over $350,000 in the bank and with grants we have access to over $2 million on these facilities; based on grants being 80% of projects and 20% coming from our funds or voluntary labour.

It’s good to pay good managers. If they do it well and people have a good time, it becomes more attractive and people will want to help next time. Therefore eventually, more folks will volunteer

Camping at events should be free or minimal cost

Don't turn away opportunities by making it too difficult to use the facilities

The fact that the GCCC maintains their facilities is great, though SRRC seems to be more proactive in providing assets
