i138 - Multi-axis DC Servo Controller4-axis DC Servo Controller for DC Brush motor
a la carte
Multi-axis DC Servo ControllerThe i138 is a 4 axis servo drive system for high precision low power DC brushed motors using digital encoders as position feedback.
Each servo axis can be controlled independently via an USB interface with a USB-B type connector. An internal master controller transfers the control messages from USB to each axis.
i138 is based on a two board stack with connectors and shape specially tailored to the end system mechanical and mounting needs. Since this driver is designed for optical – medical applications where precision and torque control are crucial, it incorporates advanced servo loops independent for each axis. Reliability is a paramount for this application, therefore, the driver incorporates several protections such as short-circuit and overload detection for all outputs, ESD and EMI protections, polarity inversion, overtemperature, etc.
Advanced controli137 uses PID algorithms with advanced control capabilites to regulate position, velocity and current/torque. The instantaneous demand of the variables is internally computed by a trajectory generator which generates an optimal profile allowing for smooth movements.
Communications i138 is provided with USB interface that allows accessing the 4 axis independently.

i111 - Modular Digital Servo DriveHigh density 250 W Digital Servo Drive for direct motor mount
a la carte
DC Modular Servo Drivei111 is a modular high performance network Servo Drive capable of driving many motor types with an output power up to 250 W. This Servo Drive has been designed to be integrated in the motor assembly.i111 consists of two different boards.:
(1) The Core Module, which contains the controller and the communication interface. (2) The Power module, which includes the power stage, feedbacks and I/Os.
This architecture allows using the same Core module with several Power modules designed for different motors.
Advanced controli111 uses PID algorithms with advanced control capabilites to regulate position, velocity and current/torque. The instantaneous demandof the variables is internally computed by a trajectory generator which generates an optimal profile allowing for smooth movements. Theinstantaneous demand could also be received from a host at a regular interval time allowing for synchronization between different axes.
Communications i111 includes CAN interface with CANopen protocol. It also includes an UART interface.
Command sourcesi111 is a fully CANopen networked slave controller.

DC Servo Drivei116 is a very low cost slave or standalone Servo Drive capable of driving many motor types with an output power of 96 W. i116 provides all its power and performance without the need of a heatsink on its full operating temperature range.
Advanced controli116 uses PID algorithms with advanced control capabilites to regulate position, velocity and current/torque. The instantaneous demand of the variables is internally computed by a trajectory generator which generates an optimal profile allowing for smooth movements. The instantaneous demand could also be received from a host at a regular interval time allowing for synchronization between different axes.
Communications i116 includes RS232 interface for configuration of applications with low communications traffic volume. For systems with high communications traffic or sync multi-axis, i124/5 includes a CAN interface with CANopen protocol.
Command sourcesi116 accepts a wide set of external command sources. It also can work in stand-alone mode executing a pre-stored program from its non-volatile memory.
