Hangaroa Eco Village & Spa has a privileged location on Easter island, situated on the main
oastal road with ocean view, less than 1 mile from the airport and just steps away from the center
of town, making it easy for guests to sightsee.
Hangaroa Eco Village & Spa was designed in homage to the village of Orongo, a ceremonial
place on Rapa Nui whose remains are still visible on the western summit of the Rano Kau
Volcano. The village design interrelates settings inside the resort harmonically, in addition to
being interwoven to a landscape draped with native species that blend nature with man-made
onstructions.
Hangaroa Eco Village & Spa is an integrated tourism project based on principles of ecological,
ocial and cultural sustainability. Every little detail, from the architectural design through to the
warm, welcoming service and activities have been carefully developed inviting guests to be part of
an adventure of knowledge, admiration, protection and preservation.

TE PITO O TE HENUA extreme point of the earth - was the name that
ancient Rapa Nui gave to their island. On this bit of earth measuring just
106 square miles, the inhabited locality furthest from any continent, its
inhabitants gave life to a unique culture and defended the values of their
native territory, their KAINGA
The wind created all the islands of the sea.
But here, the exalted one, the Overlord, the living wind,
established his home, folded his wings, reigned:
from humble Rapa Nui he parceled out his dominion,
he blew, he poured forth, he showered us with gifts,
to the west, to the east, in the smooth curve of space
until the purest buds appeared,
until roots were born.
