THE ALLIED FORCES AND NAZIS

We (The United Kingdom) was a part

of the allied forces along with Free

France (that means the part what’s not

ruled over Germany) and the USA. We

fought Axis Powers because they were

picking on little countries .

The Axis Powers were made up from

Nazi Germany, Italy, Japan, Hungary,

Romania and Bulgaria.

THE GEORGE CROSS

This is “The George

cross”. King George gave

these to males and

females for bravery

doing hard jobs while the

war was on. He gave 339

OF THEM IN TOTAL!

MY GRANDAD WAS 4

WHEN WORLD WAR II

STARTED BUT was

not EFFECTED IN

GHANA.

BUCKINGHAMPALACE !

During the war, 9 GERMAN BOMBS hit Buckingham Palace

One of the bombs, even ALMOST HIT THE QUEEN!

Through all that, the royal family stayed at the palace.

But Elizabeth (our queen) went to Winsor Castle to be safe

When she grew older she JOINED TO FIGHT! She is the only member to fight in the

war.
