The CaseThe base of a computer is the case as this is where all the components sit to keep them safe and tidy

The MotherboardFirst when building your PC it is important to place your motherboards in first and screw all the slots down

The ProcessorAfter it you can place the processor into its holder matching up the slots and locking it into position

The Processor Heat Sink and FanThe processor required the heat sink and fan which it came with to be connected to the motherboard and screwed over the processor

The Heat SinksOther heat sinks may come with the motherboard which must be fastened using the rings around the chips

The RAMThe RAM can be difficult to put in when the power supply unit trails cable everywhere, slot the chip in an push down until the grips are up right

The PCI and PCI Express CardsMany computers have extra cards for better graphics or to enable WiFi

The Graphics CardThis graphics card is a PCI express card which needs to be slotted into place and secured

The Power Supply UnitThe power supply unit need to be slid into place and held with four screws on the outside of the case

The Expansion BaysA hard drive is required and other bays may be filled with a CD/DVD drive or alternative devices

The HDDThe HDD is slid into the bay and screws adjusted if to loose

The CD/DVD DriveA CD/DVD drive is also slid in along with any other devices

The Connectors and LeadsAll the leads must be connected, power, SATA, IDE

All done, you just need to clip on the front and side pannles
