HC MERCY BOXES

In the spirit of the Jubilee of Mercy, Holy Cross will again be collecting for Visitation House and Marian Center. Donation lists are now available at both entrances of our church. Collection begins next week, September 18th, and ends November 20, 2016. Mercy Boxes will be placed up front for your donations. Thank you for your generosity.

The Archdiocese of Regina High School Leadership Team is looking for high school students who would like to be part of a team of teens who want to grow in faith, and provide leadership through-out the diocese. The team travels around the diocese on all kinds of adventures; leading retreats and providing all kinds of service to the community. You will find, friends, training and wonderful op-portunities to grow. Time commitment is flexible, but would be once a month at the MOST. Give it some thought! Annual Perinatal Loss Memorial Gathering
The 17th Annual Perinatal Loss Memorial Gathering and Balloon Release for bereaved parents, siblings, extended family members and staff will be held on Sunday, October 2 at 2 p.m. This event is to remember our precious babies who have died from pregnancy loss or infant death. The gathering will take place in the auditori-um at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, 2180 23rd Avenue, Regi-na. The balloon release will take place on the meadow outside, immediately following the gathering.

Centering Prayer Introductory Workshop will be offered on Monday afternoons 2:00 pm and also in the evenings at 7:00 pm beginning September 12, 2016 at Cathedral Courts (Room 108), 3225-13th Ave. The class offered in the evening will be a repeat of the afternoon. Are you called to visit the sick? “The Basics of Spiritual Care Vis-iting” is being sponsored by the Department of Spiritual Care, Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region and is suitable for all faith com-munities. This one-day program is necessary to become a spiritu-al care volunteer in RQHR facilities but also valuable for parish home ministry and nursing home volunteers. It is being held Fri-day, November 4, 2016 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 3510 Queen Street, Regina, Sk. (8 – 8:30 registration 8:30 – 4:15 pro-gram). Mass at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Meeting. CWL Regional Meeting will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Little Flower Parish. Mass @ 7 p.m. and meeting to follow. CWL Membership Fees of $25 are due now. Please place money with your name, address, and phone number in an envelope and mark “CWL Membership”.

for Visitation House which was held during the Queen City Marathon
on Sept. 11. We will be accepting donations on Sunday, Sept.25th
