• There are around 32 species of butterflies in the campus.

• To locate the food plants of the butterflies around USC-TC

• Know the effects of on-going constructions.

Retrieving a map of USC- TC from WRC (Water Resources Center)

Ground TruthingAround USC-TC;

GPS

Learning Arcview in making maps

Incorporation of data from Secondary Source (papers from Mr. Tambuli) and data from Ground Truthing into Arcview and producing a map that shows the distribution of butterflies and their food plant in USC-TC

Results & Discussion

Conclusion

• Ongoing constructions inside the premises has greatly affected the food plants of certain butterflies.

• Butterfly sanctuary is indeed a helpful project in the preservation of butterflies.
