LLI is a research-based small-group,

supplementary, intervention program

designed for children who find reading

and writing difficult.

LLI lessons include reading, writing, phonics, and word study and the extensive use of oral language throughout.

The three levels of LLI.

• The orange level- A-C lessons 1-70.

• The green level- A-J lessons 1-110

• The blue level- C-N lessons 1-120

*We worked at Westview Elementary School with

second grade students in groups of 2-4.

*We used the blue system, which is designed for

second and third graders who read below their

grade level.

*Book genres include: Classic Tales, Fiction,

Nonfiction, Informational, and Fantasy.

*There are many series in the blue system: The Fun

Club, Moosling Series, Bird Feeders, and many

more.
