WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE’S LIFE

William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon-Warwickshire in 1564

William was married to Anne Hathaway.

William and Anne Shakespeare have three children.

SHAKESPEARE’S OCCUPATION He had an acting career and was also a

poet and an author of many plays. Shakespeare wrote many famous scripts

such as King Lear, Macbeth, Hamlet and Othello

By 1597, 15 of the 37 plays were published.

By 1599 Shakespeare and his business part built a theatre on the south bank of River Thames called The Globe.

The theatre made him an entrepreneur as well as an artist.

SHAKESPEARE’S FINAL YEARS He spent his last five years in New

Place, Stratford. In his will, Shakespeare left many of his

possessions to his eldest daughter Susanna.

He died at the at of 52 on 23th of April 1616 and was buried at the Holy Trinity Church in Stratford.
