Stewardship A New Beginning!! Stewardship is really a way of life. All that we
have is a gift from God. Each of us has been entrusted with a set of gifts and talents that
are uniquely yours. We, as a community of faith, are called to be good stewards of these
resources and use them in our homes, at work, within our community and to honor
God’s Church. Please consider joining us on this new journey. An informational
meeting will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 6:30 pm in Fogarty Hall to
explore this exciting new direction. Questions can be directed to Chris Hackett,
Stewardship Chair, at CHackett3913@outlook.com, or call 414-416-9444 OR Marie
Ware, Pastoral Council, at marieware10@gmail.com or call 641-295-5039.

Dear Parishioners,
Today is the Solemnity of All Saints! We are ALL called to be Saints! That is
why the church is round at St. Joseph the Worker, emphasizing our universal call
to holiness. Yes, that is why the church windows and frescos depict the many and
varied Saints in St. Columbkille Church. These are to remind us and inspire us to
live as children of God! Jesus says, “Blessed are you when they insult you and
persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you because of ME. Rejoice and
be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.”
One of the things I love about being Catholic is appreciating the Communion
of the Saints! God is always with us and sees all that we do. The Saints are always
with us and they also witness to our every prayer and action to be holy. In reality,
there is no isolation, even though we may feel that way. Death will take our body,
but not our soul! In Jesus, we live forever!! So let us live now in His Kingdom as
His faithful stewards.
You will find in our new 2015 Ministry Book, parishioner names, phone
numbers and emails of those who serve in the many, many ministries of both St.
Joseph the Worker and St. Columbkille. Thank YOU to all who serve in our
parishes, especially in the new Jubilee Holy Year of Mercy!!
Blessings upon you.
