Alternate Bn is often usedfor trills.

Switch from alternate B fingering to regular B fingering on the last noteof this measure. This is a great interval to practice correct hand position.

Pinkie Finger Gymnastics

Right Pinkie:

Play low G. While sustaining G, press each one of the lever keys one-at-a-time. Think up (1), down (2), across (3), and up (4).

Squeaks are often the result of poor hand position - fingers not completely covering the open tone holes.

Left Pinkie:

Play low G. While sustaining G, press each one of the lever keys on the left side of the clarinet. Think down (1), left (2), and up (3).

(A good reminder for keeping pinkie fingers where they belong most of the time)
