SMART MICRO GRIDGREEN ENERGY (1)

The factory will be powered with ecologically-friendly utility grid power.

SMART MICRO GRIDPOWER-TO-GAS (2)

A power-to-gas device will convertelectrical energy into gas, which will be burned in a combined heat andpower plant.

The gas will serve as a store ofenergy, which can later be fed intogrid during dips in solar energyproduction.

A gas station pump for cars andtrucks will also be possible.

SMART MICRO GRIDCOMBINED HEAT AND POWER PLANT (3)

The combined

heat and power plant

will convert the power

of gas into electrical

and thermal power

at an efficiency of 90%.

CO2 savings of

1.900 tons per year

SMART MICRO GRIDSOLAR CELLS (4)

The parking lot‘s solar cells wih a power of 250 kWp + 80 kWp will deliver additional energy, which can be fed into the utility grid after it has been converted into AC power.

SMART MICRO GRIDSOLAR INVERTERS (5)

Ultra-high efficiency inverters from AEG Power Solutions that are mounted inside of the technology building will convert the solar energy into AC power.

SMART MICRO GRIDENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM (6)

An electrical energy storage will smooth out short-term power fluctuations in the solar farm.

An energy management system based on the PV.500 inverter will control this process.
