Guess who??

I wonder whether you can try to work out the name of this famous children’s author?

( An author is a writer and this writer wrote LOTS of children’s stories).

• His favourite colour was yellow

• His favourite smell was bacon

• A man who was a fighter pilot in the war

• He was very tall – six foot six inches!

• He used to be married to a famous film star (Back in the1960s)

Still not too sure?

•He wrote hundreds of stories and in them the adults are often rather silly and the children are heroes.

•He wrote many of his stories sitting in an armchair in a shed in his garden.

Any ideas yet??
