1
The Feihe project was introduced to Canada
by the Canadian Dairy Commission in 2016.
The project is the first in North America to
manufacture infant formula from both cow and
goat milk and the first to use wet-dry
processing.
The plant will be ready to receive milk in June
of 2019 when commissioning begins, and
commissioning will be completed in
September. The facility will be the only infant
formula manufacturer in Canada, and
represents the largest Foreign Direct
Investment in Ontario in terms of job creation
in the past decade.
