Canon Finetech Nisca has grown in the office machine industry by focusing on
electrophotographic technologies, paper-handling technologies, and inkjet
technologies.
We currently leverage these fundamental technologies in the office machine
peripheral market to provide products that support the office work efficiency of
our customers, such as finishers and paper decks. We are also expanding our
fields of business into printers that utilize inkjet technologies and thermal
technologies, as well as components such as motors.
At Canon Finetech Nisca, we strive for faster product releases and improved
quality via a concurrent system that integrates our development division, quality
division, production division, and head office division, and pursue user benefits
by accurately identifying the market environment and economic conditions of a
constantly changing world.

Since manufacturing the first large-scale blueprint machines in Japan in 1924, Canon Finetech Nisca has provided the
world with high quality products in fields such as office machines, office machine peripherals, and printers (inkjet
printing methods and thermal printing methods).
We are currently involved in the development of various products, including office machine peripherals such as
finishers, the industry's first automatic on-demand perfect binder with a three-edge trimming function, label printers
or card printers that utilize inkjet technologies and thermal technologies, and print modules. In the development
process for these products, we pursue higher quality and increased development speed by constructing a concurrent
system that integrates our development division, quality division, production division, and head office division, in
addition to our technologies and experiences accumulated over long years. We also back up the release of high-quality
products with cutting-edge facilities and a quality assurance system to ensure that we can properly comply with
changing product safety standards and regulations.
We will continue to develop original products via innovation and lead the industry by continuing to provide high quality

As a member of the Canon Group that values the principle of Canon’s kyosei (living and working together for the common good) philosophy, Canon Finetech Nisca conducts healthy and fair business activities while also contributing to the creation of a better society as a good corporate citizen via activities for environmental conservation and activities in the local community, such as river cleaning and beautification projects in the areas around our offices, school visits at nearby elementary schools, and cooperating with blood donation drives.

We promote environmental conservation activities accordingto the Canon Group Environmental Charter.Canon Finetech Nisca promotes the creation of products that consider people and the environment in all phases, from product planning and development to raw material procurement, manufacturing, shipping, and disposal. At the stage of product planning and development, we decide environmental specifications for each product that consider the needs of our customers and society, and conduct product design based on those specifications. We also ensure that strict environmental standards are met at our part suppliers, based on the green purchasing standards of the Canon Group. When selecting parts and raw materials, we confirm that hazardous materials are not included, and when assembling products we ensure that hazardous materials are not used or discharged during the various processes.In order to thoroughly implement these initiatives, the Canon Group has obtained certification for the ISO14001 international standard regarding EMS (environmental management systems) issued by the International Organization for Standardization, and continuously strives to improve its environmental performance.

Line print head methodA line print head is included to provide high-speed full-color printing. With regular inkjet printers (serial method), the print head moves left and right while printing, but with the line print head method the print head does not need to move because it is wide. By fixing the print head and only moving the paper, high-speed printing is possible.
