    Cantaloupe Sorbet

    Ingredients

    Active TIME: 10 minInactive TIME: 6 hrsSERVINGS: 3-4 servings

    11/2 cup 1/2 cup

    CantaloupeSugarWater

  • Make Simple Syrup:Wash and dry produce.Add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar to a small pot, and bring to boil. Stir and remove from heat when dissolved.

    Peel and medium dice cantaloupe, and blend until smooth.Pour cantaloupe in a large bowl or airtight container, stir in simple syrup, cover in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about an hour.Remove cantaloupe from fridge, stir, cover, and place in freezer for 5 hours. After the first 3 hours, remove, stir, cover, and return to freezer. After another hour, repeat process, and return to freezer for one more hour.Stir, scoop, and serve!
