Columns from level 1 to level 2

•Column forms for the 1st to 2nd level columns.•The first level of the structure was required to have a 12 foot clearance for bus staging.•The columns on level one ranged from 12’ to 16’ in height.

166 kN/m concrete pressure enables unrivalled column pouring speed.

Exceptional versatility in panel construction, with extensive column sizes ranging from 200mm – 750mm.

High quality finish columns from a 12mm plywood liner.

Practically no limit to column height and plan size. High degree of safety integrated into the design.

Fast-thread captive Rapid Tie Bolts and Tie Plates.

Robust working platform with integral guardrails and self closing gate.

Fast Column Clamp forms can be pre-assembled or job built.

Lock Fast Form has built in plastic chamfer, no loose hardware

It is designed for rapid concrete placement.

Lightweight plastic column form is waterproof

Fast jobsite assembly Reusable stackable or cut to size Outside storage will not rust or deteriorate in rain easy to strip- liquid head

•4th level pedestrian bridge being set.•Bridges spanned between the garage and the elevator shaft on the 3rd and 4th levels.•Each bridge was 60' in length.

•Photo of the lift shaft.•It was placed on South of the garage due to the bus parking in the lower level of the structure.•The lift shaft is accessible by the 2nd level walkway as well as the 3rd and 4th level pedestrian bridges.

All spandrel walls around the structure were required to have the form liner which matches the “family” of walls along the I-205 transit project.

The Parking Garage-2 Eight level Post-tensioned poured in place Capacity-700 bays The slabs and beams of the garage are post Tensioned structure

The slabs and beams of the garage

post-tensioned This enables increased load capacities

With less deflection within a low-profile structure

Since the tensioning could be done just a few days after each pour, bringing the structure quickly to design strength

allowing for quick cycling of formwork

Allowed -the fast-paced construction schedule

The post-tension concrete mix design required a minimum concrete strength of 3000 PSI in 3 days

had a shrinkage requirement of 0.040 thus requiring a shrinkage reducing

admixture to be used to meet this specification

Additionally, with the fluctuating market price of steel, the choice to use post-tensioned concrete made it an extremely efficient building material.

The contractor in co-operation with the owner endeavoured to build an underground parking structure less than one entire city block.

Just west of the Fox Tower the contractor dug a hole in the ground and began to build the multi level concrete structure.

This parking structure would create additional parking accessible only from the parking area underneath the Fox Tower.

The plan was to cut an access passage through the concrete wall of the Fox Tower underground parking adjoining it to the new parking structure.

Forms were placed in the soil and footings constructed to support structures for the Simon and Helen Director Park.

Care had to be taken when digging and backfilling, as not to breach the integrity of the roof waterproofing seal on the parking structure just below new construction.

Lightweight aggregate was imported for backfill material and blocks were used the total dead load of the construction.
